What We Do
Supported completely through fundraising events and private donations, the Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment (SAFE) provides immediate financial assistance to the families of Police, Fire and EMS personnel that lose their lives or are critically injured in the line-of-duty while working in one of the 12 counties in Kansas and Missouri in the metropolitan Kansas City area.
Often, insurance and other benefits can take weeks or even months to pay while the financial responsibilities for the family do not stop. One of the most important aspects of SAFE is the immediate financial assistance provided within 24-48 hours following the tragic loss of their loved one.
About the Tourney
Welcome to our 5th Annual SAFE Pickleball Tourney!

This event is for players of every skill level and each team is guaranteed at least 3 matches.

Each team MUST have at least ONE first responder player on their team.

There is plenty of space to invite your family and friends to cheer and have fun!

Advanced registration is REQUIRED (Number of teams limited to 36).
Who Can Participate
All skill levels of players are welcome to participate (with each team containing at least one first responder).
Chicken N Pickle will provide equipment for each player and the Chicken N Pickle staff will give a quick tutorial on rules prior to play.
Prizes will be awarded for the TOP 3 winning teams. We’ll also award BEST TEAM NAME!

Team slots are going fast, so please register now to secure your spot!
Any sign-ups after the bracket is filled will be placed on a RESERVE LIST in the event that any of the teams cannot play. You will be notified whether or not you are selected to play.
